Project Ambition
This project is a confrontation with memory. Today we are witnessing an increasing desire to perpetuate memories. The Millennium Mills serve as a site with an opportunity for remembrance. Archival historians, artists, and architects should question the display of such history and synergize between architecture and conservation. This project's primary purpose is to reflect on the importance of objects and structures - why should we demolish something to save another?
The process of curation becomes an artifact of intervention, subject to the interest of who is preserving. Elements used to subtract the objects should almost act in a cushioning manner. The machines should almost act as hands when handling the materials.

Millennium Mills
The millennium mills proves to be a site of interrogation. The derelict building encapsulated wonder to those who pass by, its impenetrable state provides opportunities for false remembrance through the use of images and videos. One constant in the depiction of the mills is the stains and corrosion of the items within
Stain Memory
Tracing memories through stains is a concept that has been developed on this project - stains provide the microcosm of an object. They become tattoos on the surface engaging clues of the activity taking place on-site. They provide information on the spatial arrangement of a specific space, long after the space is abandoned.

These photographic manipulations serve as a tool to resurrect the memory of Millennium Mills, breathing life into its forgotten corners and echoing its bygone narratives. Each edited image acts as a portal, inviting viewers to journey through time and witness the warehouse's former glory, evoking emotions of nostalgia and curiosity. These manipulations serve as a visual ode, the abandoned warehouse transcends its physical decay, becoming a timeless monument to the power of artistic interpretation and the enduring spirit of memory.
